Christmas Tree Limited Waranty

4-Year Limited Structural Warranty + 2-Year Limited Pre-Installed Lighting Warranty

Christmas in America stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its artificial Christmas trees. This Limited Warranty applies to qualifying Christmas in America artificial Christmas trees purchased for residential use from Christmas in America or an authorized seller.

Please retain your original proof of purchase. Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

1. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase by the original purchaser.

Structural Components

Christmas in America warrants qualifying artificial Christmas trees against defects in materials and workmanship affecting the tree’s structural components for a period of four (4) years from the original date of purchase.

Pre-Installed Lighting

For pre-lit Christmas trees, Christmas in America warrants the pre-installed lighting system against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase.

These warranty periods apply only to the original purchaser and are not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

2. What the Structural Warranty Covers

During the applicable four-year warranty period, Christmas in America will cover qualifying manufacturing defects affecting the structural integrity or intended operation of the tree, including defects involving:

  • Tree sections or frames

  • Hinges and branch attachment mechanisms

  • Center poles and structural connections

  • Tree stands supplied with the tree

  • Other structural components originally supplied as part of the tree

Minor cosmetic variations inherent in artificial foliage, including differences in branch shape, color, texture, density, flocking, or hand-finishing, are not considered manufacturing defects.

3. What the Light Warranty Covers

For qualifying pre-lit trees, the two-year limited light warranty applies to defects in the pre-installed lighting system under normal residential use.

Covered issues may include failure of a pre-installed light string, section, connector, controller, transformer, or other lighting component resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship.

Normal bulb failure or routine replacement of individual bulbs, where applicable, is not considered a defect in the lighting system.

4. Warranty Remedies

If Christmas in America determines that a product or component is defective and covered by this Limited Warranty, Christmas in America may, at its option:

  1. Provide troubleshooting assistance;

  2. Repair the affected component;

  3. Provide a replacement component, light string, controller, transformer, stand, tree section, or other affected part;

  4. Replace the affected tree; or

  5. Provide another appropriate remedy.

Replacement parts or products may vary slightly in appearance, color, foliage, lighting technology, or other characteristics from the original product due to changes in manufacturing, materials, or availability.

If the identical product or component is no longer available, Christmas in America may provide a reasonably comparable replacement.

Replacement of an entire tree is not automatically required because of the failure of an individual component.

Any replacement product or component provided under this Limited Warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period, unless otherwise required by law.

5. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Improper storage, handling, assembly, disassembly, moving, or transportation

  • Broken, bent, crushed, or damaged branches or components caused by misuse, excessive force, or outside impact

  • Moisture, heat, cold, weather, fire, pets, pests, or other environmental conditions

  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, accessories, or improper electrical connections

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, accidents, neglect, or other customer-caused damage

A damaged component is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect. Christmas in America may review the issue to determine whether it qualifies for warranty coverage.

6. Warranty Claim Process

Please include:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • The tree name, model, SKU, or item number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos or video of the affected area, if requested

Please do not return, dispose of, or ship the tree or any component before contacting Christmas in America.

Our Customer Service team may provide troubleshooting assistance or request additional information before determining the appropriate warranty resolution.

7. Shipping and Replacement Parts

For approved warranty claims, Christmas in America will determine the appropriate method of providing replacement parts or products.

Unless prohibited by applicable law, the customer may be responsible for certain shipping, handling, packaging, installation, removal, or other costs not directly related to the defective product or component.

Christmas in America is not responsible for costs associated with decorating or undecorating a tree, installation or removal services, labor, storage, contractors, or other incidental expenses.

8. Original Purchaser and Proof of Purchase

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.

Christmas in America may require a valid receipt, order confirmation, invoice, or other reasonable proof of purchase before providing warranty service.

Products purchased secondhand, through resale marketplaces, liquidation sales, unauthorized sellers, or other unauthorized channels may not qualify for warranty coverage.
